England v Germany – Betting Preview

Two goals from Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez left us in considerable profit from our football tips last weekend, as Chile came away with a 2-0 win at Wembley.

Sportingly Better picks out the best value soccer betting tips this week as England host Germany.

Soccer Betting Tips

England (3.00) v Germany (2.30); Draw (3.40)

England will be looking to bounce back from last weekend’s 2-0 defeat against Chile, with Germany the visitors to Wembley.

The Three Lions will have to make do without Manchester United trio Phil Jones, Michael Carrick and Danny Welbeck for Tuesday night’s game, but Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has been passed fit and will be looking to replicate his early season form for England.

Adam Lallana should keep his place in the forward midfield positions after showing some promise last time out, whilst Wayne Rooney is likely to drop into the hole to allow Sturridge the lone channel up front.

England’s loss to Chile on Friday was only Roy Hodgson’s second defeat in 23 games as England manager and the former West Bromwich Albion coach will be looking for a much-improved performance from his side on Tuesday, given last Friday’s disappointing display.

Opponents Germany are unbeaten in their last six matches in all competitions, but last Friday’s draw with Italy continued to highlight die Mannschaft’s continued lack of shut-outs on the road.

Joachim Low’s side have conceded 11 goals in 2013 from their seven away fixtures outside of Germany and the coach’s decision to rest a handful of players on Tuesday, could see the Three Lions grabbing a goal in front of the home crowd.

Manuel Neuer, Mesut Ozil and Philipp Lahm have all been given the night off by their manager, so Borussia Dortmund stopper Roman Weidenfeller is likely to make his debut for Germany at 33 years of age.

Both teams have scored in each of the last five meetings between the two sides and with the visitors making a number of changes to their squad, expect goals to be found at both ends of the pitch on Tuesday.
