Champions League Predictions – Semi-Final Second Legs 2010/2011

Both semi-finals seem all but sewn up, with Barcelona widely expected to be facing Manchester United on the 28th May at Wembley Stadium in London after both sides secured 2-0 victories away from home in the first legs.

Real Madrid will not have fond memories of their last encounter and visit to the Camp Nou with a 5-0 drubbing recorded by Barcelona back in November and the task on Tuesday looks just as daunting for Real Madrid and Jose Mourinho this time around.

Both Sergio Ramos and Pepe are unavailable due to suspensions, although Pepe can quite rightly count himself unlucky for being dismissed in the first leg. Barcelona have a dominant record at the Camp Nou and are undefeated in 23 games in all competitions winning 21; not ideal for a side who are trying to overhaul a two goal deficit.

Messi once again stole the show and should be a consideration for anytime goalscorer with 7 goals in his last 8 El Clasico meetings, but with key defensive players out for Real Madrid, Barcelona should be too strong and should win on the night to book their place at Wembley.
