Carling Cup Football Betting Tips 29th November

Chelsea have been less than convincing in this seasons Carling Cup competition with a penalty victory over Fulham and an extra time win over Everton the Blues’ route to the Carling Cup quarter final. Andre Villas-Boas is likely to bring in a number of fringe players into Tuesday’s line-up including Alex, Salomon Kalou, Romelu Lukaku and Nicolas Anelka as well as a number of youth prospects including Ryan Bertrand and Josh McEachran.

Kenny Dalglish has already warned the travelling Liverpool fans that changes are likely and given Dalglish’s emphasis on youth a number of Liverpool youngsters are likely to be introduced including Jay Spearing, Martin Kelly, Jon Flanagan and Sebastian Coates.

Chelsea have had an extra day’s rest and the likely stronger line up and home advantage should prove enough for Andre Villas-Boas’ side.

Elsewhere Manchester City travel to the Emirates in the second all Premiership tie of the round.  Arsenal and Arsené Wenger to date have opted for a mix of youth and experience in their Carling Cup line-ups with Andrei Arshavin and Yossi Bennayoun  joining the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Francis Coquelin.

Roberto Mancini has an embarrassing wealth of talent at his disposal and Edin Dzeko, Zabaleta, Kolarov, Nasri and Adam Johnson are all likely to return to the fold and City’s quality and squad depth should be too strong for the Gunners.
