Betting Preview – Crystal Palace v Stoke

Crystal Palace will be looking to halt their miserable form in 2016, as the Eagles welcome Stoke to Selhurst Park.

Sportingly Better picks out the best bets for the match, as Alan Pardew’s side look to carry some momentum into the FA Cup Final.

Premier League Betting Tips

Crystal Palace (1.95) v Stoke (4.00); Draw (3.30)

Crystal Palace will be looking to bounce back from a 1-0 defeat away at St James Park, as manager Alan Pardew lost against his former side.

That defeat against Newcastle has left the Eagles on a run of just 1 win in their last 19 matches and after a very promising start to the season, the fans will be eager for the league season to at least come to an end.

The hosts will undoubtedly have one eye on the FA Cup final against Manchester United later this month and it will be important for Pardew and Australia club captain Miles Jedinak to drum at least some momentum and drive into the club before that showpiece at Wembley.

Crystal Palace’s last five games have all ended with three goals or less being scored, but attacker Yannick Bolasie has at least shown a glimmer of the form that catapulted his and Palace’s season earlier on in the campaign.

Visitors Stoke will also be eager for the league to come to a close, with the Potters enduring a winless run of five games in the Premier League.

Stoke were denied all three points last time out at home to Sunderland, with an injury time penalty from Jermain Defoe denying Mark Hughes’ side of all three points.

Prior to that draw, Stoke conceded four goals in each of their three previous games against Manchester City, Tottenham and Liverpool and although the going will be a lot easier this weekend, the likelihood of Stoke’s backline holding out remains slim.

Both sides go into the match on a poor run of form and a score draw may well end up suiting both sides ultimately.
