Tottenham’s Champions League hopes suffered a blow last weekend, following a 2-2 draw at Wigan, but Andre Villas-Boas’ side could get back on track with a win against Southampton on Saturday.
Spurs are undefeated in 10 of their last 11 matches at home in the Premier League and the return from injury of both Aaron Lennon and Jermain Defoe could prove pivotal for the north London club between now and the end of the season.
Opponents Southampton suffered a worrying defeat at home to West Bromwich Albion last time out, but manager Mauricio Pochettino has virtually steered the Saints to safety since replacing Nigel Adkins at the helm at St Marys.
Tottenham have scored two or more goals in each of their last four games in the Premier League and the European contenders could take a giant step towards qualification with a win on Saturday.

Watford’s victory at the Walkers Stadium last time out left Gianfranco Zola’s side firmly in the mix for automatic promotion, with the Hornets trailing Hull by just a single point going into the final match of the season.
A 4-0 win over Blackburn during Watford’s last home match highlighted the firepower the Championship’s top scorers possess, with striker Troy Deeney in potent goalscoring mood of late.
Watford have scored at least two goals in nine of their last 11 matches in the Championship. Back Watford to score over 1.5 goals at 1.50.
Opponents Leeds have failed to win any of their last 12 matches away from home in the Championship and new manager Brian McDermott will have to contend with the suspensions of Rodolph Austin and El Hadji-Diouf who were both sent off in Leeds’ last match against Brighton at home.
Watford know a win on Saturday could secure their promotion to the Premier League and the Hornets will be gunning for all three points against their poor-travelling opponents this weekend.

Second placed Napoli welcome seventh placed Inter to the Stadio San Paolo on Sunday, with the home side overwhelming favourites for victory after winning five of their last six games in Serie A.
Napoli have scored 17 goals in their last six games in the league, with Edinson Cavani, Goran Pandev and Blerim Dzemaili having all frequently found the back of the net over the last month.
Opponents Inter have lost five of their last seven matches in Serie A and Andrea Stramaccioni’s team continue to be ravaged by injuries with 13 players currently sidelined.
Napoli hold a strong head-to-head record over Inter Milan in recent meetings and the injury hit visitors could be in for a long evening in Naples, in front of a dominant home side.
