Accumulator Tips – 29-31 March

Selections from the Premier League, Championship and English Football League make up the bets for our Easter weekend football accumulator tips, returning odds of 6.10 on the treble.

Accumulator Bets

Sunderland (6.00) v Manchester United (4.00); Draw (1.65)

Wayne Rooney’s deflected first half strike was enough to give Manchester United all three points against Reading last time out, as the Red Devils stretched their lead over Manchester City to 15 points.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s side have looked increasingly assured at the back in recent weeks, keeping clean sheets in each of their last five matches in the Premier League, whilst six league wins on the bounce point to an almost unstoppable run of momentum from the champions elect.

Manchester United have been winning at half time and full time in their last four matches in the Premier League. Back Manchester United HT/FT at 2.50

Opponents Sunderland have had top scorer Steven Fletcher ruled out for the rest of the season and following the Black Cats failure to win any of their last seven games in the league, Martin O’Neill’s side are being increasingly tipped for the drop.

Manchester United are undefeated in their last 18 matches against Sunderland in all competitions and despite their managers squad rotation intentions, the Red Devils look more than capable of finishing off their out-of-form hosts.

Manchester United to win @1.65

Crystal Palace (1.80) v Birmingham (4.75); Draw (3.80)

Championship side Crystal Palace will be looking to bounce back this weekend, after a 3-0 defeat by Brighton at the AMEX Stadium dented the Eagles promotion hopes.

Crystal Palace’s league push has been built on their strong form at Selhurst Park and the Eagles have now gone 18 games undefeated at home in the league.

Ian Holloway’s side have scored two or more goals in 14 of their last 16 matches at home and despite the suspension of Wilfried Zaha, Palace look capable of maintaining their recent goalscoring run.

Championship top goalscorer Glenn Murray (29 goals) has scored seven times in his last five games at Selhurst Park. Back Glenn Murray to score any time at 1.90

Opponents Birmingham have won their last two games on the bounce, but Lee Clark’s side are yet to fully string a winning run together. The Blues seem to play with more freedom away from St Andrews and have scored at least one goal in each of their last eight away matches in the Championship.

Promotion chasing Crystal Palace have seen three or more goals scored in each of their last five home matches and goals should again be found at Selhurst Park on Friday.

Accumulator Bet 2
Over 2.5 goals (Crystal Palace v Birmingham) @1.85

Bristol Rovers (2.00) v York (3.75); Draw (3.40)

Bristol Rovers made it four wins out of five in League Two last time out, with a 2-1 victory over Rochdale.

Rovers have been transformed under John Ward since the turn of the year and the Pirates now sit 10 points above the drop zone after a run of 10 wins, three draws and four defeats since their new manager took over.

Opponents York have only won one of their last 18 matches in League Two and Nigel Worthington’s side are in danger of exiting the Football League altogether, despite more encouraging results earlier in the season.

Bristol Rovers have won seven out of their last nine matches at the Memorial Stadium and John Ward’s side will be targeting another three points and a top half finish come the end of the season.

Accumulator Bet 3
Bristol Rovers to win @2.00

Betting Accumulator Odds – 6.10 (wins for Manchester United and Bristol Rovers as well as three or more goals scored in the Crystal Palace v Birmingham match)
