Accumulator Tips – 17-18 October

Selections from La Liga, Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga make up the betss in this week’s football accumulator on Sportingly Better.

Football Accumulator Tips

Schalke  (1.75) v Hertha Berlin (4.75); Draw (3.75)

Schalke welcome Hertha Berlin on Saturday and despite a 3-0 shock loss in their previous fixture before the international break to Koln, they enjoy a very good record over their opponents Hertha particularly at home.

The last five meetings between these two sides in Gelsenkirchen reads five victories for Schalke, 11 goals scored and zero goals conceded. A dominant record and at 1.73 Schalke seem too good to turn down.

Let’s not forget Hertha BSC are by no means going to roll over and currently sit just behind Schalke in 4th position. They’ve picked up the majority of their points at home with just four points from four away games.

Valencia (1.61) v Malaga (6.00); Draw (3.75)

If you’re looking for entertainment in the Spanish La Liga, these two clubs would arguably be at the bottom of your list despite being two of the biggest clubs in Spain.

Valencia have been involved in nine goals in seven league games, scoring four and conceding five whilst Malaga have scored a poor three times, but have conceded just four times in seven league games.

All three of Malaga’s La Liga strikes have come from Charles and it’s fortunate that their defence has been rock solid this year otherwise they’d sit in the relegation zone.

Malaga have gained just one point away from home, but they have already faced Real Madrid and Barcelona on their travels and picked up a 0-0 draw against Madrid at the Bernabeu and came away from the Nou Camp with a creditable 1-0 defeat.

Under 2.5 goals @1.75

St Etienne (1.50) v GFC Ajaccio (8.00); Draw (3.80)

St.Etienne’s impressive start to the campaign has come crashing down with three defeats on the bounce. They’ll be hoping a visit from Ligue 1’s bottom side can turn their fortunes and get back to winning ways. GFC Ajaccio haven’t adjusted to life in Ligue 1 as of yet with just three points from nine games.

The two sides have met just once before and St.Etienne needed extra time to progress in the Coupe de France cup.

GFC Ajaccio have played five games away from home in the league and have just one draw against 19th placed Troyes to show for their efforts, so another away deafeat looks more than likely this weekend.
