Accumulator Tips – 16-17 March

Selections from the Premier League, Serie A and Football League make up the bets for this weekend’s football accumulator tips, returning odds of 4.22 on the treble.

Accumulator Bets

Tottenham (1.50) v Fulham (7.50); Draw (4.50)

Tottenham’s surprise defeat at Anfield last time out, kept Andre Villas-Boas’ side in check in the Premier League, but the Europa League contenders still remain one of the most in-form sides in the division.

Spurs are undefeated in their last eight matches at home in the Premier League and the north London club go into Sunday’s match in good goalscoring form, after scoring two or more goals in each of their last four games in the league.

Opponents Fulham threw away a 0-2 lead at the Stadium of Light a fortnight ago and the Cottagers ongoing problems on the road still remain.

Tottenham have won their last four home matches against Fulham in all competitions and despite a raft of expected changes, Spurs should maintain their advantage over the chasing Champions League contenders this weekend.

Stevenage (4.50) v Sheffield United (1.95); Draw (3.40)

Second placed Sheffield United extended their unbeaten run to seven games in League One last weekend, after a 0-0 draw with MK Dons at Bramall Lane.

The Blades go into Saturday’s match hoping to equal a club record of seven consecutive clean sheets in the league, having not conceded since a 2-1 victory away at Shrewsbury.

Opponents Stevenage have lost 13 of their last 16 games in League One and Gary Smith’s side continue to plummet down the table.

Sheffield United have won their last four games away in the league and Danny Wilson’s promotion chasing side should produce another professional display against a hapless Stevenage side on Saturday.

Sheffield United to win @1.95

Fiorentina (1.44) v Genoa (7.50); Draw (4.22)

Goals from Steven Jovetic and Adam Ljajic helped move Fiorentina into fourth place in the league, after a 0-2 victory away at Lazio last weekend.

The Viola are undefeated in 17 of their last 18 matches at home and Vicenzo Montella’s growing outfit will be hopeful of securing a European place come the end of the season.

Opponents Genoa have failed to win any of their last seven away matches in Serie A and the Rossoblu find themselves locked in a four-way battle for relegation along with Palermo, Pescara and Siena.

Fiorentina have won their last five home matches against Genoa in all competitions and the Champions League chasers should prove too strong for Davide Ballardini’s visitors on Sunday.
